Our Quality Assurance Process

At GBM, our comprehensive quality assurance process integrates precise measurements and rigorous testing at every stage of production, ensuring exceptional product reliability and performance.

Material Validation & Steel Hardness Testing

At GBM, quality assurance begins with comprehensive material testing. We validate all incoming materials against strict specifications to ensure they meet our high standards. Our steel hardness testing is performed using advanced Rockwell hardness testers, allowing us to verify the exact hardness of every steel component.

This critical first step ensures that only materials with the proper mechanical properties enter our production process. Our technicians measure multiple points on each sample, guaranteeing uniform hardness throughout the material. This meticulous approach prevents potential failures during machining and ensures the longevity of the final product.

3D Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Inspection

Our state-of-the-art 3D Coordinate Measuring Machines provide precision measurement with accuracy down to 0.001mm. Every critical dimension is systematically verified against the engineering specifications during and after the machining process.

The CMM creates a digital map of the manufactured component and compares it to the original CAD design, generating comprehensive inspection reports. This allows us to detect even the slightest deviations and make necessary adjustments before components move to the next production phase. Our technicians are trained to interpret these results and implement corrective actions efficiently.

Automated comparison to CAD design specifications

Comprehensive dimensional verification

Detailed inspection reports for every batch

Functional Testing & Final Inspection

Before any product leaves our facility, it undergoes rigorous functional testing designed to simulate real-world conditions. Our water flow testing for fluid components ensures proper operation under various pressure conditions, while assembly verification confirms that all components integrate perfectly.

The final inspection includes visual examination for surface finish quality, comprehensive documentation review, and confirmation that all quality requirements have been met. Only after passing this multi-point final inspection process does a product receive approval for shipment. This systematic approach ensures that our customers receive only the highest quality components that will perform reliably in their applications.

Our Measuring Equipment

GBM invests in state-of-the-art measuring and testing equipment to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards. Our advanced technology allows us to verify every critical aspect of your components.

3D Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)

Our advanced 3D Coordinate Measuring Machines are the cornerstone of our precision measurement capabilities. These sophisticated instruments provide accuracy down to 0.001mm, allowing us to verify complex geometries against design specifications with unmatched precision.

The machines use a touch-trigger probe system that maps hundreds of points on a component’s surface to create a comprehensive digital representation. This data is then compared against the original CAD design to identify any deviations. Our CMM equipment is calibrated regularly according to international standards, ensuring consistent measurement accuracy.

Benefits of our CMM process include:
• Automated measurement of complex geometries
• Real-time comparison to design specifications
• Comprehensive reporting and documentation
• Early identification of potential issues

2.5D Optical Projector System

Our 2.5D optical projector systems provide enhanced visual inspection for critical components. This technology creates high-resolution digital images of parts that can be magnified up to 100x, allowing our quality specialists to examine surface details invisible to the naked eye.

The system is particularly valuable for sample validation and first article inspection, as it can overlay the actual component profile against the design template to identify any deviations visually. The non-contact measurement method preserves delicate surfaces while providing precise dimensional data.

Key capabilities include:
• High-resolution imaging with up to 100x magnification
• Profile comparison against design specifications
• Surface finish inspection and analysis
• Documentation of visual inspections with annotated images
