Overview of Our Injection Mold Making Service
Our expertise in mold manufacturing is built around three key stages:

Mold Design
Our injection molds are carefully designed by experienced mold designers with over a decade of expertise. We focus not only on the quality and precision of the final molded products but also on optimizing production speed to maximize overall efficiency.

Mold Machining
The precision of mold processing relies on both the accuracy of machining equipment and the expertise of equipment programmers and operators. At GBM, we excel in both areas, ensuring high-precision mold manufacturing with exceptional reliability.

Mold Assembly
Mold assembly involves critical steps like mold fitting confirmation and mold polishing, all of which are carried out in GBM’s dedicated mold assembly workshop. To guarantee greater precision in the final injection-molded products, these steps are meticulously repeated multiple times for optimal results.

Injection Molds Application & Injection Molded Parts
The ultimate goal of our injection mold making service is to produce high-quality injection-molded parts. The molds we create can either be utilized by clients for their own injection molding production or entrusted to GBM for handling the entire molding process.
These cases showcase how our injection molds are used in the molding process to produce precise and reliable final products.

Submit Product Drawings
Step One
Simply provide us with your product drawings, and our team will conduct a dedicated assessment meeting to evaluate your project and deliver an initial report.

Product DFM Analysis
Step Two
We will generate a DFM (Design for Manufacturability) report or a mold flow analysis report and work closely with you to confirm all requirements before proceeding.

Mold Design
Step Three
Once you confirm the details, our mold designers will use all the gathered requirements to create a professional mold design tailored to your specifications.

Mold Manufacturing
Step Four
Our CNC workshop will start manufacturing the mold components, which will then undergo thorough inspection by our quality control department to ensure they meet all specifications and standards.

Mold Assembly
Step Five
We will conduct multiple mold fittings and polishings to ensure the highest mold precision and to prevent any potential injection molding defects during production.

Delivery For Use
Step Six
Your custom-designed injection mold undergoes meticulous inspection, is securely packaged, and then delivered, ensuring it is ready for immediate use in production.

Mold Finishing
Surface Finishing and Post-Processing in Injection Mold Making Services
To meet diverse customer needs, most molds produced by GBM undergo surface treatments and post-processing. By default, we apply a high-gloss finish to ensure the final injection-molded product has a smoother surface. Additionally, techniques such as sand blasting and etching are used to treat the surfaces of mold parts.
To improve mold hardness and extend lifespan, we commonly perform post-processing treatments like heat treatment and nitriding on the completed injection molds.

Delivery Times and Trial Runs for Different Injection Molds
Our mold delivery timeline begins once you confirm the order and we initiate the mold design process, extending through to the first trial run phase.
- Rapid Tooling – Typically completed within 7 days.
- Production Molds – Usually require 30-45 days, with our team maintaining close communication to ensure all requirements are met.
Before the first official trial run, we conduct internal trial runs. Additionally, we perform 2-3 more trial runs to thoroughly identify and eliminate any potential injection molding defects before full-scale production.
